Closed Mondays

Closed Good Friday, 1st of May, Midsummer Eve, 23rd of December, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day.

Admission

Adults: 50 skr.
Children and young people up to 20: free.
Students with a valid student id: 40 skr.
Senior Citizens: 40 skr.
Members of Kalmar Art Association: free.
Holders of Kalmarpasset: 50% reduction on admission fee.
Holders of Svenskt Kulturarvskort: 50% reduction on admission fee.
Groups of more than 10 people: 40 skr/person.

Guided tours

Guided tours for the public
Every Sunday at 13.00 the exhibitions are shown by our guides.
The guided tour is included in the entrance fee and there is no need to book in advance.

Guided tours for groups of visitors
We offer guided tours of the exhibitions. Please telephone to make a booking.
Fee: Monday-Friday 500 skr per booking and 40 skr/person. Saturdays, Sundays, Public holidays and evenings: 1000 skr per booking and 40 skr/person.

Next to the museum the Byttan Restaurant is offering hot food as well as serving coffee and tea.
Slottshotellet is located opposite the museum and is offering hotel accommodation as well as excellent cuisine.
