Mine's bigger than yours

With the various components of Mine's bigger than yours, Oscar Guermouche is reasoning around self images and sexual manifestations within diverse male identities. By using compilation and displacement of excerpts, objects and images, Guermouche points at links between military service, sexual conquests, Internet pornography, and literary descriptions of the male body. The starting point is taking place in the 1990s, during Guermouche’s adolescence, and in some of the contexts and medial expressions that came to characterize him.
