Dance Now Think Later transforms Kalmar art museum into a vibrant dance arena, challenging the museum’s traditional choreography by building a dance floor surrounded by film screens featuring international artists. The exhibition is based on dance as an expression of freedom that transcends established social conventions and challenges us to movement and to take place. Dance Now Think Later is both a celebration of dance as an art form and an investigation of the dancing body as a political manifestation. During the exhibition period, the dance floor will be occupied by films, performance works, workshops and other events. See the full exhibition program.
The exhibition runs from FEBRUARY 12 – APRIL 27
